10 companies make 90% of what we eat

I think I'm going to start a new thread in this blog:  The Milkman's Coming.  According to this article, almost everything we consume is a product of just ten corporations.  These are multinationals, who function outside the dictates of any one specific nation.  I'm not making a judgement call.  Perhaps all this consolidation is fine - or at least, not terrible.  I am pointing it out because it is one more fact that makes my book, The Milkman, that much more believable.
