Biography

Michael J. Martineck has written for DC Comics, The Truth About Cars, short stories, and long stories. Michael's newest novel, The Tongue Trade (EDGE Science Fiction and Fantasy) is a finalist for the Global Book Award. Michael’s novel, The Milkman (also from EDGE), won a gold medal from the Independent Publisher Book Awards and was a finalist in the Eric Hoffer awards. His previous novel, Cinco de Mayo, was a finalist for an Alberta Reader’s Choice Award. He has also written two urban fantasy novels for young readers. Michael has a master’s degree in English, an undergraduate degree in Economics, worked in advertising for years and years, but now teaches a little bit. He lives with his wife on Grand Island, NY.
